The first step that i will be doing would be asking questions to my SERT teacher about the procedures and steps of Scribing before supporting the students on their tests. Since this tool is quite new to me at placement, This is would be my only chance to get a headstart before researching at home. Asking questions is crucially important especially when it comes to experience a new tool or strategy that I've never encountered before.
The second step would be for me to begin researching online to find out what is Scribing and how the educator and / or the EA uses it to assess and write down the student's answers. I added a screenshot of one website that I've found to be helpful for me to get a better understanding on how this tool is used in a school setting.
The final step to complete my goal is to look up for helpful tutorial videos for me on how to Scribe for my students when they are taking tests or notes. To support my statement, I included a video I've found on Youtube that explains the procedures of Scribing and the Do's and Don'ts when using this tool to assess the student on his test. The link is below if you would like to take a look at it. There are three parts of this video, but I only added one as an example.
